I came to Australia in 2013 to study Electrical Engineering. It was great two years in University of Wollongong where I met people from over the globe. I worked part time, and studied well. It was with Conspec Controls Pty Ltd, where I got introduced to two very interesting disciplines, Work Health & Safety Management Systems and Quality Management Systems.This became the reason that I started preparing emergency evacuation plans for schools in India when I was there for some time looking for opportunities and to be with family. I also got enrolled with BSI, Delhi to complete training on Certified Lead Implementer course on ISO 9001:2015. I have now returned to Australia with the Australian Permanent Residency status so that I can build my professional career as an engineer. The reason that I want to work in an Australian workplace is the Australian work culture which ensures healthy living.Just to keep myself occupied in India during the above period, I practised teaching phonetics because I observed that people in India unknowingly pronounce English words incorrectly. This gave me a confidence in speech and has definitely improved my communication skills.As an Engineer, I have interests in process control, industrial automation, PLC programming, QMS and electrical engineering services. I have little experience as an engineer but I am willing to get trained because I want to work to learn and learn to work. I am though open to any junior role that would match my skills, knowledge and experience.I play squash and have interest in parkour, first aid and open water swimming. I wish to swim English Channel in ten years from now. And Australia provides the opportunity to go after my interests. I am looking forward to this super exciting journey beginning with an entry level job that would support my endeavours towards the goals.
