As engineering/Manufacturing project leader I planned managed and executed the launch of 1st Jazz and recently MUV Mobilio and Premium sedan Civic from 'Concept to Reality' , overseeing a Rs 1400 million budget and over 50 member team of professionals from R&D / Engineering/ Manufacturing/ sales & Finance.Selected Accomplishments:> 100% Adherence of schedule and on time launch of Jazz and Mobilio> Achieved 90% localisation of Jigs &Equipments.> Established process quality maturation &achieved 70% direct pass ratio of CBU WITHIN 1 month of launch & 90% within 3 months.> 1st project handled independently by 100% indian management.> Conceptualised themes like 1st Hatchback 1st 3 row MUV , utilised learnings from different markets & targeted debut benchmark JD Power IQS score of 56 points for Mobilio.

Responsible for overall quality of Completly Build Unit (CBU) for Indian and Export Markets. Feedback to manufacturing departments for the market problems and ensuring the permanent countermeasure so as to achieve No 1 position in JD Power IQS Survey.Selected Accomplishments:> Conceptulised and established 'QICS' ( Quick Information & Countermeasure System ) for speedy information flow and countermeasures. Information timing reduced from 12 hours to online info and thereby increasing the countermeasure speed of manufacturing departments. Direct pass ratio increased from 60% to 82% after implementation of the system.> Established framework for direct pass ratio of 90% as per organzational goal.> Achieved continously for 3 years No 1 Position in JD POWER IQS Survey in India.

To make operating and strategic planning for manufacturing to achieve overall organisational goal.Selected Accomplishments:> Developed short term and long term business plan keeping the over all objectives and targets of the organisation.> Strengthened manufacturing constitution by monthly business plan review of all manufacturing departments which resulted in higher efficiency and cost down.> Achieved 2% cost down every year in manufacturing by setting the targets , monthly review control

> New model parts development for City/ Accord/ Civic models by leading team of engineers in parts quality & Development department.> Feasibility of suppliers for new models , introduced 4 new suppliers during new city introduction.> Supplier quality development by engaging with the through audits , quality circles , kaizens, cost down, resulting increased 'Direct On Line' parts f on 25% to 78% .

Worked as India project head for Amaze development in asia new model centre. Worked along the multicultural team from Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan,Malaysia, and R&D in Thailand , thereby coordinating , helping and guiding the Indian project team of ' HONDA AMAZE' during planning and development phase of the same.Selected Accomplishments :> Planned and coordinated with R&D for 1st time prototype manufacturing by Indian team inThailand.> Arranged and planned the design GEBA with R&D to incorporate design changes pertaining Indian customer needs and requirements.> coordinated with Top Management of Asian region for India Evaluations and Approvals.
