Tools manufacturing - Pressing technique

-The company is belonging to GMD Group France, which is a major player in flat metal transformations by stamping, deep drawing, sheet metal works and other processes. In MG Hungary the main processes are automatic and manual stamping, assemblies by welding, riveting. The main products are automotive and electro-technical components and assemblies and main customers are Bosch, Kiekert, Faurecia, Schneider Electric.As the quality and project manager of the company my tasks and responsibilities are:- Operation, maintenance and development of the quality management system- Management and development of quality insurance and control tasks- Monitoring and controlling production processes to ensure the customer required quality- Handling and investigating complaints, defining the corrective and preventive actions, following the implementation and efficiency of the actions - Participation in external and internal audits, and representation of the company in external audits- Project management, introduction of new products-APQP process management- Active participation in process and product development- Active participation in editing the Product Approval Documentation (PPAP)

The maintenance activity includes the machines and equipments, the complex pressing tools maintenance the energy supply systems and also the building engineering, I was responsible for the maintenance planning, tracking and documentation, defining and optimizing the spare parts stock, organizing the planned and repairing maintenance activities and leading the maintenance team. Also I was responsabil for managing the external repairing suppliers and service companies.

It was a daughter company of “Hard International”A/S Denmark, the leadingmanufacturer of sprayers and equipment for plant care.”Hardi Hungary “was manufacturer of garden sprayers and accessories. I was from the start member of the team which organized and set the new factory in Hungary. I coordinated the installation of the machineries and the assembling of the production lines and I have been responsible for organising the maintenance activity. It has been my task to implement the production process, to develop the work instructions and to select and teach the workers. After the production started, I carried out the production manager's tasks, including production planning, production supervising and documentation in ERP system.Unfortunately the Danish mother company has decided a new production strategyand according to this the Hungarian production plant was closed at 2004.06.30.

The companywas producer of tempered glass lids, supplier of world-famous cookware producers (e.g. Tefal).In 2001 I had spent few month in China and Italy to study the tempered and curved glass technology and after, I was charged to implement this technology in the new company, to develop the technological process, to design the production lines, to select the machines. I coordinated the installation of the machines and personally trained the first group of operators. I participated to the organising of the maintenance system. After the production was running, I designed and implemented tools which improved the working conditions and increased the productivity

I was the chief of the furnace division and I was responsible for operating and maintaining the furnaces and I was managing a team of 172 persons including the 3 shifts operators and the maintenance technicians.In 1993 I participated in a complex project as consultant, for the development and modernising of the company, implementation of new technologies, to increase the productivity.
