I founded uConnect after making the most of career services when I was in college and subsequently realizing that most students don’t meaningfully engage in career planning and exploration at all, and how detrimental that has been to student success and institutional effectiveness. Our mission is to ensure more people have access to the career resources they need to realize their potential, and that starts with helping schools transform how they engage students with career services.We make this possible by developing the first all-in-one virtual career center, which is uniquely designed to integrate all career resources that schools already offer into one central destination for career inspiration, education and success. Today, we’ve transformed career services for 400+ higher education institutions, elevating career readiness, student outcomes and institutional ROI. Personally, I've spent the last decade dedicated to helping career services professionals elevate their role on campus and get a ‘seat at the table.’ I'm proud to say that uConnect has helped raised the standard for career services in higher education, earning multiple awards for innovation and technology.A little bit about me:- I'm a proud UMass Amherst alumnus who used every career service available, shaping my vision for uConnect.- Before founding uConnect, I started by career in private equity, making loans to healthy companies operating in underserved credit markets.- Outside of my professional life, I am a passionate Boston sports fan, try to stay active and outdoors as much as possible, and most importantly the #1 customer for my 5 year old's beauty salon.
