I started in the commercial industry and stuck with Territorial Electric (TE) for almost 7 years before taking a break starting the year of 2020. TE recognized my ability to excel in all fields and under their employment I was able to work and lead in all aspects of the commercial electrical industry (Power, Data, Fire Alarm, Distribution, Mentoring, Lead Hand). From 2020 to 2023 I spent my time working on myself, travelling, and fully renovating my home. During those years I found work in the industrial field with Techmation for the Heartland and Wolf Midstream projects. Here I was able to ascend to a lead hand role and was fast-tracked into the MCC crew as well as leading wire pull crews. In between those projects I returned to TE to work with my old boss on his last project before retirement. This was at the Amazon warehouse in Acheson and my role was to put out fires while taking care of all things data and security related. Since 2023 I have been working for BP Automation in the field of industrial automation. This has become my favourite type of work due to its diverse nature and frequent problem solving. A value I share with the crew from BP is the dedication to high quality work which complements my passion to build, fix, and tinker. I value the potential of this industry and am looking forward to developing skills and knowledge currently best learned in the field.My drive stems from my passion for travel, living out in the bush, and sharing my life with family.
