My main role was leading a team which created a user-friendly flight metasearch – a product that helped users to find a plane ticket they want and advised a reliable place where to buy it (either an OTA or an airline website). The service was available for key Yandex markets (Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Turkey and Ukraine), and there was an experimental .com version as well. Above all the challenges and goals we set for ourselves, was the attempt to make a difference and inspire people to travel somewhere they didn't think of before. On the B2B side of things, proving that meta model can bring value, would be a great win. Launched in 2012, the latest among its' competitors, Yandex.Flights was quickly growing audience (at peak MAU was around 5 million, x4 during the first two years) and boasted the highest conversion rate on the market.

Successfully building the online travel agency business from scratch by shaping the business model, as well as products and services requirements, building technology and data partnerships, providing front- and back- offices product management and creating and executing company's marketing strategy. None of this could be done alone, so gathering and informally leading the team of almost 20 people was the biggest part of the job.During the first 3 years from the website's launch in 2006 the number of transactions has grown from 1 per month to 1 per minute and according to PhoCusWright Research in 2012 the agency made it into Eastern Europe's top-5 OTAs.

Development and support coordination for almost 20 websites for Russian, Swiss, German and internal customers, including web portal "Medtrust", created for Moscow City Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund to promote compulsory medical insurance, which boasted 200k unique users a month without any additional advertising.Research of the company's main target markets (IT, telecom, banking, real estate and health insurance) and definition of the main business development directions and growth opportunities.
