I happily served as a Regional 3 governor for ASCE. Region 3, which includes Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North Dakota. As a governor, I served as a laiason between the local sections and the National Society.

I worked on both publicly and privately funded projects in the site development and transportation/infrastructure field. As a licensed professional engineer and surveyor in the state of Ohio I oversaw a staff that prepared designs for a wide range of clients on a wide range of projects. I have extensive experience in roadway design for public agencies, in particular with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT). I am prequalified by ODOT for non-complex and complex roadway design, as well as right-of-way design and review. I also have a plethora of experience with private site development surveying, including boundary, topographic, ALTA/ACSM, and construction staking. I have six years experience in 3-D laser scanning and architectural surveying. I also am a licensed professional surveyor in Pennsylvania.

I was responsible for civil engineering and survey tasks related to site development and infrastructure design projects.

I worked as a construction inspector/surveyor on various projects in Canyonlands National Park and Mesa Verde National Park.In Canyonlands I was responsible for staking a new Ranger housing facility and support infrastructure. In Mesa Verde I helped to stake a new waterline and inspect its installation

I worked as a surveyor on various projects in Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area and Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore.In Cuyahoga Valley I helped to establish the route of the towpath for the Erie Canal. At Indiana Dunes I helped to stake 79 site campground, including roadways, camp sites, utilities, and associate facilities.

I worked on a construction survey crew in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and Canyonlands National Park.At Sleeping Bear I helped to stake an 88 site campground; including roadways, camp sites, utilities, and other associated facilities. At Canyonlands I helped to stake out a new visitor center and associated parking.
