After directing for the first time in high school at the age of 14, I was floating. Floating through the hallways, into my next class, where I was able to watch the play back of what I had just done. And it was amazing. I remember that feeling propelled me for the rest of the day. I went on to become an Emmy Award Winning, live multi-cam director (despite my mid-west parents pushing me towards accounting!) because it enthralled me, made me passionate, and fulfilled me. I did it for years, and in so many settings. Being married to a military man meant my horizons were constantly changing, and so were my skills, until climbing that corporate ladder removed directing from my day to day. I'm fortunate that the nimbleness a live multi-cam director must possess has been a guiding force in my life. I have pivoted. I have swerved. I have achieved.But the lure of live multi-camera directing has always been there. The siren song plays to me. I'm ready to find all the niche places in Southern Orange County where I can use my skills. I'm ready to be back on headset! Let's go!
