Led a 80+ EBS Volume Control Plane organization (seven 2-pizza teams). EBS is the world’s largest cloud-based block storage provider and scores highly on security, availability, resiliency, and performance. My teams owned capabilities in volume metadata management, resource lifecycle orchestration, distributed key value store with strong consistency, enterprise class data service features, along with API and console experience. Our most noteworthy customer feature launches at AWS re:invent include security features like Encryption-by-default, Cross account encrypted snapshot sharing; next gen volume types IO2 BX and GP3, and innovations for enterprise customers in Multi-Attach, Fast Snapshot Restore, Local Zones and Outposts.

Led a 100+ Finance Technology Payee Experience organization. My organization owned and managed the technology behind the Procure-To-Pay workflows for Amazon retail and Corp-AP vendors globally which included external facing portals and backend services. These technology systems automate the secure processing of financial instruments (such as invoices, credit notes, receivables, disputes, remittances, and statements) and accurate disbursement of $100B+ globally. My organization had 10 sub-teams (10 SDMs, 6 TPMs) with 4 managers reporting to me and a team of 6 TPMs managing cross team/functional programs and geo expansions. These tech solutions are used by 100K+ vendors and 3000+ finance analysts and operations staff WW. In my 4.5 years, I built a strong roadmap and charter for my teams and grew strength from 13 in 2013 to 100+ in 2017. We built and launched three scalable platforms ground up for financial disputes management, self-service workbench for WW Finance Operations teams to manage the end to Procure to Pay life cycle and an external portal cum platform to serve Corp-AP vendors.
