Dr. Foley has a long-standing research interest in protein homeostasis and the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which he has continued as co-founder and CSO of Ranok Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company that is pioneering a novel approached to targeted protein degradation, Chaperone-mediated protein degradation (CHAMP®) for the treatment of cancer and other serious diseases.He has 25 years’ experience in drug discovery, preclinical and clinical development, with an emphasis on cancer, immuno-oncology and autoimmune diseases. In prior roles at FORMA Therapeutics, GlaxoSmithKline, Synta Pharmaceuticals, Millennium Pharmaceuticals and ZymoGenetics he has had a successful track record of advancing innovative therapies into the clinic.
