After 5 years of internal and external attempts to automate processing and managing of the Closed Programs product, devised and implemented a solution within a year. The product was integrated with the core web applications, core payment processor, and enterprise workflow and document management products. Additionally, the vast data store was normalized and migrated out of many spreadsheets and isolated file stores and into the master data repository allowing for the discovery of new insights.* Consolidated the data footprint and applied consistency to the collection and storage process of both historical and newly onboarded Closed Program data.* Enabled the first phase of automation by implementing a method by which both new and historical Closed Program data could be migrated out of numerous spreadsheets and stored in the organizations master data repository.* Deployed a consistent process by which newly closing programs could submit their data to the organization in a more consistent and useful manner to facilitate a more structured integration of the data into the master repository.* Migrated departmental Outlook/Excel/Paper workflow processes into existing workflow and document management solutions to implement a common (and trackable) process for the fulfillment of Closed Program data requests. This had the additional benefit of more easily cross training staff from other departments to assist during operational peaks.* Implemented an integrated product offering to replace the paper Closed Program Request form and allowed for online submissions that had been validated, associated with proper ID's and Codes and had related payments processed on-line and immediately electronically integrated with the organizations financial systems.
