I am a SOC Team Lead with 10+ years of experience in security operations, asset protection, networking / systems administration, desktop / helpdesk support, project management, and consulting. My primary focus is on Microsoft Cloud Security Architectures and the elements embedded within such as artificial intelligence (AI), application security, cyber defense, cloud & infrastructure security, data protection, digital identity, and regulatory compliance. I have worked in-house and have been on both build and run teams for a multitude of clients in aerospace & defense, government, banking, healthcare, automotive, manufacturing, agriculture, higher education, and retail industries.I have worked with technical teams touching many aspects of information security from cloud security, security information & event management (SIEM), intrusion detection systems / intrusion prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint detection & response (EDR), and threat & vulnerability management (TVM), to data loss prevention (DLP), file integrity monitoring (FIM), identity & access management (IAM), and governance, risk, & compliance (GRC).Presently, I am a senior consultant in data protection for Avanade's Security Practice. Avanade is a joint-venture owned by Microsoft and Accenture comprised of architects and engineers delivering enterprise solutions via Microsoft platforms. My current role is working as a Technical & Compliance Lead on a 24x7 security operations center (SOC) team with Accenture Managed Security Services (MSS).
