The architecture has enabled us to scale from around 50 dispatches per day with a few hundred transactions to more than 50000 dispatches per day with more than a million transactions.Responsible for decomposing the previous monolithic architecture into an ecosystem of nearly 80 micro-services using Kafka and rest as the messaging middleware.Designed integrations with partners systems which ensured that the exchange can adapt to the speed, technology and architecture of legacy systems in an asynchronous manner without affecting core exchange functionality.Involved with discussions with dev team leads on a daily basis to ensure that all teams conform to the architectural practices and design patterns defined for the exchange. Also involved with code reviews of critical pieces of exchange infrastructure.As release manager, I am responsible for ensuring delivery of key product outcomes end-to-end which includes discussion with business, helping leads design optimum solutions and ensuring timely delivery to the client.Co-ordinating with devops team was able to streamline and automate the release process using CI/CD which allowed us to achieve a very high velocity of more than 300 releases per month.

In addition, it provides seamless backend integration capabilities for eligibility determination, enrollment and payment transactions.• Responsible for design of big-ticket items for Open enrollment period 2015-16 like CCA Renewals, Premium Assistance module, Advanced Program Determination, Retro-Eligibility etc. • Played a central role in gathering functional and non-functional requirements from business team and thorough analysis of how changes will impact the existing product.• Leading team of developers which will be implementing these big-ticket items and supervising timely release to the client to ensure smooth rollout before starting of OEP.• Was the POC for discussions with onsite product support and vendor teams to ensure that all issues were resolved within the agreed timeframe to meet SLAs.• Responsible for benchmarking existing batch processes running in the system, investigating bottlenecks and proposing changes in the existing design to improve overall performance of the system.• Devised a strategy to ensure that the 508 Accessibility compliance requirements were met throughout the portal• Responsible for introduction of agile-based development process for existing enhancement activities and future major releases.

I was the senior technical lead tasked with the responsibility for managing the development team which overhauled the WebInsure Exchange Manager (WEM) product implementation for one of the major insurance providers in the US.The WEM product has state-of-the-art technology which allows health plans to seamlessly integrate with state and federal health insurance exchanges. It enables insurers to send and receive enrollment related information, payment related information to and from the exchange. It also allows insurers to manage certifications of marketplace plans and maintain up-to-date benefit, network and rate information with appropriate approvals. Enables integration with claims to understand the risk profiles and facilitate risk assessment. It also allows insurers to conduct and manage risk adjustment in accordance with state and federal exchange compliance.• Responsible for design and development of reconciliation module of the WEM implementation • Involved in devising a strategy to overhaul the monolithic architecture of the system into a more distributed approach. This involved fine-tuning the entire design of the product to enhance performance and reduce load on resources.• Designed and implemented the batch execution framework consisting of more than 80 batch jobs which performs bulk of the system processing.• Implemented integration points of the WEM system with 10 vendor/carrier systems using different strategies like file based, DB based and web-service based integrations.• Leading the development team to fix the issues in the production team and client-specific enhancements requested.• Interacting with onsite analyst and technical team and also the client’s business, management and deployment teams to ensure smooth delivery of client releases.

Medicare is a social insurance program administered by the United States government, providing health insurance coverage to people who are aged 65 and over; to those who are under 65 and are permanently physically disabled or who have a congenital physical disability; or to those who meet other special criteria. Webinsure medicare product is targeted towards private health insurance providers (sponsors) to streamline their eligibility determination and enrollment process. The system has out-of-the-box support for latest CMS Medicare guidelines. It also has the capability to integrate with existing 3rd party vendor systems, existing member databases, and billing systems to facilitate the enrollment of beneficiaries in the plans provided by the sponsors.• Was responsible for technical design of the core Eligibility & Enrollment module of Webinsure Medicare product. Was also involved in analysis of key-business areas with business analyst (BA) team to identify CMS rules for enrollment in different scenarios. Responsible for presenting walk-through of module architecture to client's technical team.• Was responsible for technical design of common frameworks used in the system, including Batch Framework for file processing (using Spring Batch), messaging layer for guaranteed publishing and delivery of messages, cache framework using Ehcache as a second level cache to Hibernate and also replicated caching using JMS.• Leading technical team of 15 members for development of common framework and Eligibility & Enrollment module.• Interacting with internal and external (client) Quality Assurance (QA) teams for resolution of defects during delivery.

The integrator follows the principles of SOBA where business processes and technological components are built as independent services and can be re-used and customized at run-time.• Attuncore core banking system: AttunCore is a core banking system which is used to integrate the services provided by all branches and channels of a bank. Using this application, bank customers can access their funds and perform simple transactions from any branch or channel. The ease of development of the core framework has allowed us to create the entire application within a span of just 4 months.• zvenCRM: zvenCRM is a comprehensive In-house and hosted CRM system catering the next generation requirements of e-Business solutions. It has been designed for businesses seeking low cost, flexible and agile CRM option.
