Working alone or with a Japanese Teacher of English (JTE), I would plan lessons and activities and teach elementary students (3rd - 6th grade), basic English conversational skills. My first three years with Interac, I was with a school that did not have a JTE, and thus it was just me teaching the students, with some help from their homeroom teachers. This year I was moved to a new school that does have a JTE, and we work together to make fun lesson plans for the students to teach them English and about the cultures of different English speaking countries.
