As the Chief Information Security and Privacy Officer for Grindr, I oversee all security and privacy-related matters for the company. My duties and accomplishments include: - Maturing the company's security posture by overhauling the security program and implementing a revised Security Program based upon industry standard and NIST framework; - Provide PbDD and SbDD advice for new features, services, products, and company initiatives; - Provide guidance and oversight for the development, implementation, and ongoing administration and monitoring of privacy and security practices; - Develop and implement security and privacy compliance training for all employees and key contractors; - Oversee and lead all security and privacy incident response investigations; - Collaborate with heads of all business units to integrate security and privacy into the Grindr DNA; - Provide Security team members with coaching and development opportunities;- Promote Grindr's continued commitment to transparency through the introduction of a Third Party Disclosure document outlining Grindr's data sharing practices for all users; - Introduce tools such as OneTrust, SplunkCloud, and Tenable to provide maturity and efficiency for Grindr's Privacy and Security programs.
