Wall2Wall Music creates new works collaboratively with like minded professionals and people of all ages, experiences and backgrounds.Since Wall2Wall Music’s first project as part of North 55-7’s Illuminate in Malin Head, Co. Donegal, our experience and reputation has grown through the creativity and energy of our team of facilitators and the many and diverse projects we have led in schools and communities across Ireland and the UK.Using simple, inviting and friendly techniques we push musicians out of their comfort zones, merge genres, and reshape the boundaries of collaborative improvising, composing, arranging and performing. We explore themes, concepts and stories then together as a group we transform our ideas into melodies, rhythms and songs. Not only does this process bring new original music into the world it helps people involved express their own creativity, safely explore challenges and issues, discover new talents, work closely with others to achieve musical goals, increase in self confidence and connect as a whole group through a shared creative experience.Participants can be any age and don’t have to have any particular musical background or level of skill – just have a strong interest in music and a reason to get together. What Wall2Wall Music offers is not a one size fits all approach. We prefer to work with you to develop the most appropriate content.Wall2Wall Music also has a strong commitment to passing on our skills and developing this musical practice by training music tutors and facilitators, classroom music teachers and offering our expertise as consultants.

Working with Voluntary Arts Ireland on creative initiatives, consultations and partnership development

Voluntary Arts Ireland is here for the people who love to be creative - who love to sing, dance, perform, bake, garden, upcycle.....providing a universal voice for the voluntary and amateur arts. We provide platforms and vehicles for highlighting, celebrating and encouraging creative cultural activity, create and share knowledge, and convene and engage in civic conversation. We operate across Ireland and are an initiative of Voluntary Arts which links us to similar bodies in England, Wales and Scotland.
