- Drive continuous improvement and optimization of the manufacturing processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency and improve first pass yields- Driving LEAN manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies- Develop and update PFMEAs working with multi- functional teams- Plan and execute process development builds (Engineering samples, validation builds, etc.) - Work with purchasing and product engineering to develop rough and finish material drawings for purchased material vendors- Train and inform operators, quality control, technicians, front line leaders, and management on improved process techniques and new manufacturing concepts - May provide feedback on the performance of employees- Assist the Buyer/Planner and Accounting in updating setting cost of the product

- Managing the initial manufacturing pilot builds of new products and managing cost reduction and productivity improvement projects- Technical and technological documentation management within the production plant.- Design and implement manufacturing tooling to improve workplace safety, workstation ergonomics, operator productivity and product quality- Identify quality improvements and defect prevention by developing and implementing mistake/error proofing fixtures and devices- Develop documentation and provide training for the quality systems which we develop and/or support
