CurrentTereform is recycling textile waste using air.We use the oxygen in air to deconstruct polyester textiles, even those that contain spandex, dyes, or other challenging additives, back to the building blocks from which they are made, which can be collected, purified, and used to make new textile-to-textile recycled garments. This technology was developed at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and currently, we are focusing on scaling our process and generating prototype textile-to-textile recycled products. Please reach out if you would like to chat!
