Bringing the world from a make-take-waste system to a circular one will require aligning many moving parts throughout a waste stream ecosystem. In trying to develop new technologies to help make this transition, I’ve found that scientific advancement is an important component, but by itself will have no chance of causing real change. There are so many forces that circular solutions are up against that there is a huge need to work as a collective, with stakeholders with a variety of different perspectives and backgrounds all coming together to drive solutions forward. I love being a part of that change, and I really believe it is possible to achieve. Reach out if you want to talk about it!
