Because we are all capable of change, if we are in the right mindset. 39% of the world’s adult population is needlessly suffering from eating behavior related health issues. Both the human and the economic costs are enormous. And the situation is actually getting worse. What blows my mind is that a lot of this suffering and spending could be prevented through relatively simple lifestyle changes. We just need to be open to it and find what works for us. We, as a team, believe that this is one of the most meaningful issues to tackle right now from a social good and business perspective. We are deeply committed to mindfulness and self-improvement. Most importantly, we all went through our own self-transformations, focusing on change from the inside.All of us, who have found our path already know that it’s possible. Know that small healthy habits can make a huge difference. This is what motivates us to build a solution that helps others.So how did I get here?My lifestyle choices and negative behaviors unknowingly took me into a downward spiral for years, resulting in a harsh wake-up event that made me realize I need to make a change. My experimentation with food journaling and small habit changes got me back on path towards a healthy sustainable lifestyle. The success of finding my path, combined with my disappointment of available tools, inspired me to build a solution to make this easier for others.My previous life: For twelve years I worked as an Order Management consultant, specializing in Siebel. Throughout the years, my primary role was to design, promote, and build easy to use, cost effective solutions to satisfy complex business requirements and user needs in a corporate environment.
