Technical leader responsible for the overall design of technical solutions during the lifecycle of Corporate Initiative projects, from planning through implementation. Defines the high-level design and provides technical oversight to IT Project teams in order to deliver key solutions to business problems. Clearly documents solution components that are to be built, review the quality of the components with focus on integration and performance. Engage technical experts across multiple technologies to pro-actively provide robust implementation. Conduct special quantitative studies and analyses, simulate alternatives, and present findings to management. Research and analyze strategies, programs, and processes across and between all corporate functions. Provide factual evidence to influence management decisions. Support complex business processes. Makes well-thought-out decisions and recommendations on application integration issues. Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Gather data on systems issues, define alternative approaches, assess business impact, recommend cost effective solutions, and develop and implement those solutions. Handle critical development issues. Research and analyze data. Work with vendors to resolve problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.Automated Invoice Management System (IMS)Lead the functional requirements analysis, system design and implementation of an automated billing system for Large Group accounts within CareFirst. System is design to source, aggregate, calculate and present all of the data necessary to manage billing for these accounts. This includes integration of multiple data sources including detail claims data, financial contract information, underwriting data, payment data and enrollment data from multiple sources.

Kevin has returned to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) projects for Northrop Grumman. He is currently involved in Data Design and Master Data Management for both Medicare and Medicaid projects. Previously Mr. Ware participated in Northrop-Grumman’s efforts to assist the Social Security Administration in building a 5 year plan to safely and efficiently transition to a proposed new Data Center. This effort entails detailed assessment of all issues related to a successful migration and the establishment of strategic initiatives to aid the agency in this very complex and potentially hazardous process. Mr. Ware’s role has been to provide input concerning Enterprise Architecture principles and their application to application dependency mapping. Mr. Ware is also the Work Order manager for the tasks associated with the collection, management and dissemination of information acquired during this process

Mr. Ware's role as a Systems Architect is to establish system information requirements from Business requirements in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems. Designs architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces. Ensures these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures. Evaluates analytically and systematically problems of work flows, organization, and planning and develops appropriate corrective action. Has led the design and implementation of the National Provider Identifier Crosswalk system which automated the cross referencing of healthcare provider identification to existing payment system identifiers for CMS , the Compliance Data System which provides the public with the ability to register complaints and provide documentation to the HHS Office for Civil Rights concerning HIPAA violations , and the Administrative Simplification and Enforcement Tool that provides the same capability for complaint input and management for CMS within HHS. One of Mr. Ware's primary duties is the evaluation and technical solutions for Bids and Proposals. Mr. Ware was the Engineering Process Owner for Maricom's successful achievement of CMMI Maturity Level 3within an 18 month period.

Mr. Ware’s role as Chief Scientist for OLS entailed guiding the development of OLS Commercial E-Commerce procurement technology. He managed and controlled engineering, analysis, performance evaluation, and planning; logistics; computer and communication system design, and implementation; business process re-engineering; facility planning, design, operations, production, and marketing.

As SciQuest's Chief Architect, Mr. Ware provided Strategic Enterprise Architecture support to the Research Triangle Park corporations catalog aggregation and transactional systems representing 1.8 million products and services from over 900 suppliers. He managed the Scope and Architecture on all Enterprise IT Development for business, procurement and research systems. He conducted Technology Assessments of numerous companies for Business Development and Technology utilization for SciQuest.com. Mr. Ware was responsible and accountable for Strategic project initialization, requirements planning and development for the entire enterprise systems infrastructure.

Mr. Ware served as lead instructor for IBM's E-Commerce and Relational Database software. He developed E-Commerce and Database curriculum for IBM Education and Training, and also developed a Programming and Database curriculum for the National Institutes of Health. He provided strategic and tactical E-Commerce and Relational Database consulting to multiple customers in the systematic identification, assessment, demonstration, implementation and logistic transition to e-Business. He was responsible for conceptualizing and documenting E-Commerce technical and process innovations.

As a Senior DBA, Mr. Ware was responsible for all data operations for a multi-million row Relational database. He developed the Service Operations processes and data architecture for TASCOR's IBM Contract and the Service Contract Management System for IBM's McDonnell-Douglas Contract

Mr. Ware was responsible for identifying and assuring that the organization's data structures and capabilities matched the requirements of its customers. He developed a company-wide Skills Analysis and Education Allocation System that provided IBM's Service Divisions significant efficiency and management improvements for allocating and controlling Education requirements for several hundred Service Branch Offices.
