Featured Achievements:1- Automating products acquisition process (~2018) Using S3 and SNS with queues and workers we automated the whole process of tagging, processing and adding books to eSentral marketplace. this automation is handling hundreds of thousands of records that contain new books and books updates and it's being processed a semi instant way without any human interaction. 2- Optimising the use of AWS Services and making bill 50%+ less .(~2019) That involved reevaluating everything that was used and introducing new services and stop using old services that were used before. 3- Moving from traditional way of managing infrastructure to infrastructure as code (~2019)Now all our apps are built and deployed using Docker images, every app got its own requirements to work all of that is documented as a code. 4- Enhance git workflow and introducing CI/CD and best practices.(~2019)We managed to get rid a lot of old bad practices that developers tend to do in their git commits and merge requests. then we migrated from a very old gitlab version to use the latest gitlab-ee and to use gitlab runners a (CI/CD) solution similar to Jenkins, and now all our apps are deployed automatically after passing automated pipelines. and that boosted up the developer performance.5- Migrating heavy computing load from AWS ECS to DigitalOcean k8s (~2020-2021)6- Migrating eStore from old Codeigniter to Laravel 8, php 8 ( backend) and React with Nextjs for frontend , (2021) this was a rewrite of the whole old system, this was important step to have more testable and maintainable code.Featured used technologies: PHP, Laravel,React, NextJs, Elasticsearch, k8s, Codeigniter, Nginx, Apache2, Docker, gitlab & gitlab-runners(CI/CD) , VueJS , ES6/7. AWS ( ECS, EC2, RDS, Billings, Cloud-front, AMI ... ) , Firebase ..

- Javascript (ES6) VueJS / some Angular2+ and ReactJS- PHP (Laravel ) for an eLearning platform, and a text search app using Elasticsearch. - Perl ( scripting ) for tasks automation. - C# (MS word Add-in)​​​​​

I supported the MEDIU University in both Koha ILS and DSpace .I was working in this period remotely from Damascus , and make all the work from there .About Koha : MEDIU was working on Koha 2.2.9 , and was managing both Digital and printed resources on that version of koha , I do the upgrade from 2.2.9 and make some maintenance on the marc records and import the ebooks to one new koha instance and the printed books to other one . I make all the configurations that fit the digital collections on its instance and that fit the printed book on its instance. And other tasks …About Dspace : I installed a new Dspace v.3.1 , on the Mediu servers .and make sure that Its configured to be indexed by Google Scholar. Generate site maps and add them to Google webmaster tools .make some configurations (add ar_SA to the languages options for Arabic titles) and make a Video tutorial for library staff.
