About Katrina Raben Ms Ed

Former seasoned NYC teacher and school administrator working towards my MSW to become a TIC therapist. The intersection of trauma and neurodiversity provides many opportunities to better understand how we learn best. Our world has changed rapidly over the past several years, and people have increasingly faster access to information and platforms for sharing. I specialize in supporting students with ADHD to increase their executive functioning skills. Additionally, I enjoy working with professional learning teams in creating a healthy workplace culture. I'm successful in working with both adults and youth by helping clients learn to actively listen, cultivate empathy and compassion for themselves and others, while also utilizing somatics to work through difficult emotions. Promoting successful collaboration on teams when challenges surface requires a strong culture, coupled with both the abilities to advocate and self-reflect. I am passionate about helping my clients bring mindfulness towards their actions and building new neural pathways that promote proactive behaviors that are thoughtfully considered.I'm a big picture thinker, with an even larger sense of humor and strong organizational skills. I bring a growth mindset, inclusivity and responsive leadership style to each project.
