As an automotive journalist and news anchor with over 24 years of experience in the television news and media industry, my professional story is all about cars, motorcycles, road safety, news-anchoring, and videos. Essentially, I'm a storyteller at heart, and I take pride in delivering compelling, engaging content in relatable language, that captivates and informs my audience. Currently, I'm leading the auto and gadget verticals of Times Network-Times Drive and Gadget Times. My career began at Zee News, where I wore many hats, including news anchoring and hosting India's first Hindi Auto Show, 'Wheelocity.' I spent 15 years at NDTV, where I launched the Hindi Auto Show 'Raftaar.' The show was hugely successful, receiving multiple awards and becoming the biggest automotive content brand in Hindi.After serving as a prime time news anchor and automotive journalist for 19 years, I made the leap from traditional television news to the digital industry. I transitioned from the world of live TV to the world of websites, YouTube algorithms, and short-form social content. Platforms which are ever-changing and evolving, and content which needs to in sync with technology, algorithms, user behavior, and storytelling strategies.My mission has always been to inform and empower the Indian driving and riding community, helping them make informed decisions about the latest cars and motorcycles in the market.
