For this to happen, the merchants offers are uploaded in the system and the clients install the mobile app on their smartphones.How Beemr works:Beemr connects the merchant and clients smartphone, via Bluetooth Smart technology. A special device which can be "seen" from the phone is installed in the shop and the client can get the info for the actual offer when passing by the merchant PoS.The technology works within 100 meters, does not consume the batter and requires the Bluetooth to be switched on. With a team of four, responsible for all multimedia and entertainment services (50+) of Mtel, gathered on one portal infrastructure - Vodafone live! service. This top class technology was implemented as part of the partnership agreement between Mtel and Vodafone. The ecosystem overachieved the forecasts in the business case both in terms of users and sales. The implementation project with 200+ team members was one of the shortest implementation in VF live! roadmap (approximately 6 months) and was acknowledged as a best practice case study for such projects. The launch event was recognized as one of the best in VF live! history. As part of the launch proposition - liveTV streaming was introduces over the newly deployed 3G network.This was one of the most challenging and exciting periods of my carrier!
