University Of Irvine - Student Airborne Research Program

• SARP conducted an airborne research campaign aboard a DC-8 research aircraft through NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center.
• Participants flew five flights that consisted of both hands on air sample and in-situ data collection with several devices apart of outstanding universities, NASA centers, flight operations, and engineering personnel.
• Each undergraduate researcher facilitated an individual research project for the duration of the program at University of Irvine under a top faculty advisor and graduate student mentor.
• A final presentation of each undergraduate’s research project is presented to NASA Airborne Research directors and SARP faculty, which is recorded and posted on the National Suborbital Education and Research Center.
