Our team at the Florida Institute for Child Welfare is dedicated to leading and supporting translational research, ensuring a direct impact on policy and practice focused on child and family wellbeing. With over ten years of experience, my role as Interim Associate Director merges deep expertise in social work research with a keen focus on community needs assessment and evidence-based program evaluation. At Mavida Health, I contribute as a Consultant, applying translational research skills and acumen to build and sustain patient-centered, evidence-based mental and behavioral health strategies. At Woollard Nichols and Torres, where I have been an Associate Researcher for over seven years, I lead community needs assessments and program evaluation projects. My professional commitment is to translational research that amplifies marginalized voices and drives systemic change. I am motivated by a mission to deliver research and evaluation outcomes that resonate beyond academic circles, directly informing policy, interventions and services, particularly for those who are often invisible in systems of care.
