As an Inside Sales Systems Engineer I work with the Inside Sales team directly helping them overcome technical objections in their sales cycles. I work directly with customers to do proof of concept projects and deploy Zerto in their production environments at scale. As an Engineer as Zerto I get to help companies through their digital transformation processes, and adopt hybrid / multi cloud solutions. My focus in this role is to help small and medium sized businesses become more agile, and grow as technology grows. My specialty is in vSphere and Azure in not only using cloud for disaster responses, but also shifting workloads to cloud and being resilient.

I made connections with customers that I will hang on to for the rest of my career, and had the opportunity to work with people at the top of the DRaaS industry. I not only supported the software, but helped customers better understand what the product did, and how they can better utilize the potential it presented to their environment. I came in to the team as an entry level Support Engineer, and they quickly gave me the knowledge I needed to escalate to Senior Support Engineer. I supported companies such as Peak 10, Macquarie Telecom, AT&T, and Verizon Terramark, and covered a global scope.

At UNF I gained a lot of experience doing different projects under the cover of the Help Desk. Since I didn’t have a degree, I could not hold a salary position, so I became the leader of several different initiatives across the campus and departments. I worked directly with the campus techs (CTECH) to facilitate upgrades from Vista and XP to Windows 7, and helped tailor the imaging process / GPO structure for certain departments. I also spearheaded another project to control malicious infections via some good old fashioned physical access. I manually had to clean and prevent infections on machines that had been compromised and threatened to spread across the global domain.
