As an associate producer (AP) with the U.S. Higher Education team, formerly with Strayer Studios. We are a team of filmmakers, interactive media designers, and higher educators who are on a mission to re-shape higher education through documentary storytelling and engaging, immersive multimedia experiences. Serving a student body of over 80,000 enrolled students, I develop story scripts, manage deliverables, perform media management, plan film shoots, and coordinate field productions on-location and in the studio. In addition, I manage post-production archival research, contracts with sports and media agencies, coordinate closed-captioning services, curate screening reels, and manage expenses for a film production team. Finally, within my role, I operate as a director of photography and/or one-man band filmmaker, directing visuals and operating cameras, DIT, editing film, and engineering film production + livestreaming systems for the greater Strategic Education community.

At Chimpanzee Productions, I collaborated with production teams to produce social media graphics and film teasers for Family Pictures USA, a public television pilot. Also at Chimpanzee, working under filmmaker Thomas Allen Harris, I managed social media graphics for a large-scale crowdfunding campaign, assisted in script development, and conducted media management following field shoots. I film video news photography from around the Wichita area. This also involves producing content packages to air at different times of the day. Breaking and feature news make up the bulk of assignments, both live and recorded material for later broadcast.

I work as a Contributing Writer for the USA TODAY College network, providing news coverage and multimedia production for a collegiate audience. This is done from the Cleveland, Ohio area, although work has been done on stories around the United States.

Wichita, Kansas Area

With my position as a photographer for The Sunflower, I photographed Wichita State events, news opportunities, and local events, in-order to fulfill assignment needs. These assignments included both traditional-style photography and photojournalism-style situations.One accomplishment from this position is the cover photograph of the fall 2014 Survival Guide, the largest edition of the Sunflower of the year.

As a reporter for The Sunflower, I reported on events that had a connection with Wichita State University, both on-campus and off-campus. This included sports events, social changes, community events, etc. I authored feature stories, briefs, and editorials. In addition, I also contributed copy editing and design consultation. As the multimedia and photo editor, I work with a team of multimedia reporters and photographers to cover the Wichita State community through visual storytelling.

I work at NASA's Glenn Research Center at Lewis Field in Cleveland, Ohio as a Regional Economic Development intern. I work on a team of individuals to document the successes and connections between NASA and private sector businesses, expanding the capabilities of both NASA and the businesses NASA assists, through multimedia and print work.

I have worked for the Kroger family via the Dillons grocery division. With this, I have provided customer service, handled money, managed inventory on stock, and have worked cross-department in-order to help business run as smooth as possible.

Winter internship in-between school semesters where I am a staff photographer at the Wichita Eagle, completing photography assignments in conjunction with reporters, attending events and doing regular features.
