👉 My job, interest and passion is into sports & health technology, innovation and business development. I currently take action at Victoris, one of the R&D and innovation consortia at Ghent University (Flanders, Belgium). At Victoris, I bring together researchers, entrepreneurs, sport and health professionals and policy makers to create new products and services based on science. I'm also leading the Sports Technology & Innovation course in the (2nd Masters) Movement and Sports Sciences Department.🚀 In addition, I manage the Flemish (Belgian) sports tech startup (pre-)accelerator called SportUp in close collaboration with imec.istart and Sport Vlaanderen. 🌍 In order to further bridge the gap between various academic disciplines and other research driven experts in the sports industry, I launched the Sports Tech Research Network as a global community of like minded people facilitating research driven innovation in sports. 🎙 In this context, I'm hosting the Sports Tech Research Podcast as well.🛫 Together with co-founders, I recently launched a Ghent University spin-off called OnTracx, which is active within the 'injury-free running through smart biomechanical load management' space.🎯 With the objective to support non-profit organizations in sports (schools, municipalities, governments, research institutes, federations, etc.) with their digital transformation, I co-founded the non-profit organization Sportamundi vzw.☕️ Feel free to PM me to have a chat
