I provide design, engineering, consulting, and support through all phases of the SDLC, with a focus on accountability of resources and continuity of direction, to achieve accurate and meaningful results that can be measured in faster APIs, reduced server costs, and streamlined maintenance.My hands-on experience transforming and securing large-scale international systems affecting hundreds of millions of customers is an advantage I lean on as I strive to create the most value and stability that I can for my clients, associates, and friends.

I have 25 years of experience as a musician, electronics tech, and audio engineer - performing and providing sound for events with audiences in the thousands (e.g. 4th of July in Fairhope AL and Mardi Gras in Mobile AL).I have rebuilt and modded tube amps, performed intonation and action setup on dozens of guitars, and built open-source examples of electronics engineering, DSP, and reactive FP for high-performance audio apps.

As an Associate Security Engineer for PG Forsta, my responsibilities included utilizing and maintaining security tooling and SOC services, responding to incidents, providing real-time and scheduled guidance to software engineers and IT, defining SDLC strategy, reverse-engineering unknown binaries and data, and providing tech support to associates on securing workstations and servers. Other tasks include PM and QC, architecture and code review, evidence collection and forensic analysis, custom anti-phishing solution and incident response management dashboards, and other general IT and cybersecurity related work.

As the Sr. Engineer for Recall InfoLink, I was responsible for translating requirements into business logic and UX designs, implementing solutions and bug fixes, refactoring and porting code to newer languages and technologies, developing communication tools such as automated phone and voice systems, and coordinating QA and release schedules.

As a consultant for Integrated Objects, I provided clients with front-end design and development, R&D, and support services for enterprise applications, corporate websites, and internal technology. During this time I co-authored a cross-language interface for data integrity and type safety (C# to TypeScript) and a high performance web front-end framework.

I worked with the team at SlimWare Utilities to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and bare-metal hypervisors built in-house, in addition to developing automated systems for R&D / QA, data processing, analytics, and other critical assets. Our efforts led to widespread industry recognition and several awards, including PC Magazine Editor's Choice.During my employment at SlimWare Utilities, I was promoted from Analyst to Senior Engineer and eventually SLDC Coordinator, by conducting groundbreaking R&D into Windows OS maintenance and virtualization, and by producing a wide array of internal tools and resources for the CEO, CTO, other developers on the team, and remote support and QA staff. In addition to leading multiple cross-project teams building high-value technology, I also trained and mentored developers, produced specifications and other technical documentation, and provided IP assets that were instrumental to the eventual sale of the company.

At CBS Computers, I implemented SOP for providing excellent and consistent customer service. My responsibilities included selection and training of computer technicians, keeping up with the latest technologies and trends, maintaining the repair shop, developing custom tools and methods for operating system repair, and providing solid customer service to our clients.

As Quality Control Supervisor on the Crist Generating Plant JBR Project, I provided QA/QC support for the construction of the JBR flue gas scrubber, working with engineers and QC staff from Augusta Fiberglass and Southern Company to review 100+ drawings to prepare internal documentation for quality assurance and control purposes. Additionally, I provided IT support by implementing and/or troubleshooting network, A/V, and biometric security systems, and building tools in Excel to calculate material composition requirements per design spec.
