Specialization in Microservices delivering our vision for Large Scale Distributed Computing.Enabled Apple’s latest Black Projects from becoming a Financial Intermediary (ApplePay) via new architectures requiring 3 Million transactions in under 8 hours (the largest infrastructure data change in the last 15 years) to our latest cloud capabilities (Next Generation iPhone) via a new horizontal distribution architectures serving hundreds of millions of active devices scaling to billions of transactions per second.Developed Apple’s First Cross Platform Cloud including improvements to OS deployment time by 2.5x via service call parallelization and new object serialization techniques as well as spearheading development and design of our next generation L2/L3 efficiencies via overlay networking (VXLAN) and distributed load balancing.

Chevron's major capital projects are member to the greatest feats in engineering. We leverage technology to conquer everything from ensuring post-award EPC performance throughout 180 countries to engineering design and construction of 70-story structures floating in 4,000 feet of water; this complements US domestic objectives such as decreasing dependence on foreign energy and international expectations in meeting the world's increasing demand. As part of Chevron's MCP division, I am responsible for excellence in execution for all computing infrastructure and applications in this arena and serve as Lead Technical Subject Matter Expert for initiatives exploring how we can further this impact.

From earth scientist to petrophysicists to information executives, optimal energy discovery and extraction requires computation in thousands of algorithms and an exponential demand for CPU cycles.
