Being a Program Manager is a unique role that helps with staffing, training, problem solving and support for school staff in order to support positive outcomes for our students who struggle the most. I value the community, their perspectives and the push back I get on my thinking. I have learned to accept feedback as love and work to help the staff I serve understand that as well. I don't believe we can grow or change unless we have the opportunity to have conversations about what we see and can problem solve in those moments. I also believe in the power of the team. No one person holds the key to unlocking success for students, but rather the best solutions are generated when minds come together to think in unique ways that help us to ignite the spark of creativity and possibilities. I also believe in a work-life balance. I believe that educators are the best educators when they are able to lean into all the parts that make them whole without having to have an unbalanced load that makes work dominate their lives. I believe in helping to coach, support and help others to find that balance so that they can continue to enjoy coming to work daily. When I am not at work, I enjoy time with my daughter, my pets and my significant other. I am so thankful and honored to be the mother to my daughter because she allows me to experience her beautiful personality every single day.
