- Responsible for developing a positive living community for a floor of 40 diverse students living in the university residence halls.- Develop and promote hall events to help interaction and relationships of students.- Serve as a positive role model and support system to residents and peer staff members.- Promote academic success, encourage campus involvement, and address student needs.- Implement and enforce all University and Housing policies.

- Support students in effectively transitioning in a campus community by using own self college experiences- Assist students with the balance of academics and on campus involvement by creating events, facilitating workshops, and leading discussions on important college topics- Help to create a sense of belonging for over 50 diverse students who engage in the Carter Academy program
