Work to evaluate inventory for OEM product lines to keep in stock and available immediately. Negotiate favorable pricing to allow competitive pricing on products available to sell. Work with OEM's to provide distribution and support to end customers. Analyze trends in the market place for product lines seen from Airline, MRO or 3rd party perspectives.

Work to optimize the value of retiring assets as well as help negotiate lease return conditions. Coordinate and complete lessor audits. Execute the retirement plan including ferry flights, records packages and any other requirement that may be needed. Contribute to the continuing analysis of when to retire assets and what the disposition of them will be.

As part of the Fleet Transactions team, my primary focus is on the disposition of our aging A/C. I help manage the process our A/C retirements and lease returns at the A/C end of life. Along with the rest of the Fleet Transactions team we determine which A/C to retire at what time to keep our fleet at the optimum level.

I handle all purchasing and repair requirements for avionic and electrical components for ATA chapter 22, 23, 24, 31, 34, 54, 56 as well as aircraft tooling. I work on sourcing opportunities on the purchasing side and service contracts on the repair side. It keeps me busy, but I love what I do and have a great time!

I had the privilege of starting my career at Southwest Airlines in the mail room. I helped sort and deliver mail and packages throughout headquarters. It was a great learning experience and I was able to meet so many amazing people.
