About Leo Krieg

Began my professional career as a process controls engineer working as part of large design teams for petrochemical plants. Gained considerable experience through a series of project assignments that included extended job-site assignments for the start-up of the new facilities. Concentrated experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing plants in the late 1980s.I moved into Project Management and later accepted an assignment to be part of a team from the USA that would start a joint-venture company in Germany to provide engineering services to pharmaceutical manufacturers across Europe. Led projects in Germany, Italy and, Poland.Returned to Philadelphia; progressed through several positions of increasing responsibility which included program management, strategic planning, business development, and operations leadership.Currently leading capital project delivery in the Americas and Global Biologics. AstraZeneca's Global Engineering and Real Estate group is organized into five Project Execution Teams and various functional support teams such as Project Services and Engineering Technical Services.
