Successfully launched a new product proposition on our online beer store in several European markets, working with a cross-functional team of specialist.

Responsible for the BLADE beertap and B2B / B2C webshop in the Netherlands. Found a good product-market and business model to penetrate (new) channels. Set and drove a winning strategy and managed an agile team with e-commerce, field sales and operations.

Responsible for the craft portfolio and -strategy of HEINEKEN Netherlands, and the marketing team for Brand beer, Affligem, Lagunitas and other craft beers. Re-positioned brands and accelerated two into company 'game changer' brands. Introduced a successful low- and alcohol free specialty beer range. Led and participated in several M&A projects.

Set up brand ambassador teams and developed a new way of working to build beer brands and ciders with key bar owners in the main cities.

Helped set up three new HEINEKEN import companies as MT member in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Responsible for the marketing team of Heineken and Desperados. (Re) launched Heineken through the UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour in two countries.

Coached and managed 14 sales representatives and merchandisers, creating customer relationships and joint business plans with supermarket managers in the southern half of the Netherlands.

Developed a 360 campaign for the 50-years anniversary of the Primus brand. The campaign was awarded the HEINEKEN Brand Building Award ‘09.

Managed relationships with bar owners and found new business opportunities in unserved channels.

Ran three projects in three different operating companies in marketing and sales, of which the first in the Dutch Heineken brand team.

Combination of both the Masters ‘Marketing’ and ‘International Management’. Masterthesis in Marketing: “International Brand Extensions”, which was graded 8.0 and was used in an academic working paper. Bachelorthesis in Marketing: “Are you tuned to iTunes?”, which was graded 7.5 and was nominated for the faculty thesis award.
