My personal journey as an investment professional allows me to engage a diverse portfolio of companies across multiple geographies and industries, including the development of both growth and turnaround strategies. I am cognisant that decisions taken today can have knock-on effects on real people and their communities tomorrow.After 15 years as an investment professional and witnessing the extraordinary advancement of Artificial Intelligence, I realised the odds of being replaced by a ‘machine’ were increasing at an alarming rate. Confronted by this realisation, I searched for a vocation likely to be more insulated from this technological menace and have focused my efforts on the Restructuring & Turnaround industry, where strategic thinking meets hands-on operational muscle. And I have not looked back since. To say I’m solution driven feels like a buzzword. Instead, my approach to each engagement is to determine what a successful outcome looks like and then design a solution with that destination in mind. I see projects like a puzzle that needs to be broken up and fitted together again. I bring 20 years of experience across both financial markets and the Restructuring and Turnaround industries, both debt and equity, public and private markets. I’m a CFA Charter holder, graduated from the University of Cape Town with a B.Bus.Sci (Honours in Finance & Economics) and was lucky enough to finish high school in Mauritius, earning an International Baccalaureate from the Le Bocage International School.I demonstrate strong business and financial acumen with an entrepreneurial flair.
