Over the past 10 years I have been a part of dozens of hospital and ambulatory data migrations across the country as both a consultant and a developer. My services have ranged from migrating 30 year old AIX systems, out of business proprietary data structures as well as modern object oriented and relational database technologies.I also held a contract for 3 years for The Frankel Group where I and my team wrote a custom intranet application that took 7 different technologies they used to run their business and put them all under one roof. During the development we also worked with a consulting group to take them from Peachtree Accounting to Quickbooks where we were able to integrate billing. This company was purchased 2 years into the project by Huron Consulting Group (a near $1B company at the time) and our software was part of the sale.

I was afforded an opportunity to enter the Affiliate Marketing industry for a rapidly growing startup. I implemented a MySQL custom List Management system that was responsible for nearly a billion records. While there I designed and developed a custom suppression management tool used by our staff and clients to maintain compliance with opt outs across all of our offers. To manage all of our custom tools my team and I developed an in house intranet.

One of my clients whom I had been managing systems and writing custom software for offered me a position to head all IT operations for his growing medical practice and new sleep lab. During this time I implemented Pulmonary Function Testing equipment / software, a complete Electronic Medical Records suite, and Sleep Lab equipment / software. I also implemented our Active Directory domain controller, in-house Exchange Server and remote access VPN. We eventually moved to a new building where I designed and oversaw implementation of the complete infrastructure including server room / equipment, whole office wiring, exam rooms, administrative offices, etc.

This position was a sub contractor position to several Medical and Document Management companies. My partner and I wrote custom high volume document management solutions that were used to streamline business document retention needs. Our software was used primarily in the government, healthcare and real estate verticals. During this time we were featured on download.com. Our software was sold as far as South America and had an estimated 100M impressions scanned. This experience proved invaluable as I continued my career. To understand the various compliance regulations, along with how to efficiently streamline a team to scan, digitally process and index/retrieve any number or type of document is something I have had to implement in almost every job I've had since.Of note, one of our clients was the Judicial Conduct Board of Pennsylvania who chose our web based search and retrieve software over the google appliance at the time. The scanning of their documents was done by Scanman Technologies who used our flagship product to mass scan and process their records.Technologies Used: C# - .NET Framework - Leadtools SDK - DevExpress - MS SQL Server

I started this position as a support engineer and ended as a developer in R&D. We had a COBOL based Durable Medical Equipment software package. My ability to grasp the software quickly allowed me to advance throughout the company. I had proven myself competent in administering Windows, Linux and Unix systems as well as automating DME claims processing direct to various payers. My knowledge of Windows development and the up and coming .NET platform proved valuable as the company found itself in a more Windows based client environment. I left the position to pursue more development opportunities.
