Working with multiple authors and overseeing the updates and new chapters of the Patent Law and Theory 2nd Edition

This position leads the planning, organizing, management, and evaluation of fee-based programs such as the Patent and Intellectual Property Law Summer Institute and High Technology Protection Summit. Responsible for advising and selecting scholarship recipients for the annual Transnational IP Seminar in Europe and coaching students for the license negotiation. Organizing international conferences and events such as the SPCC Judicial Conference and the Asia-Pacific Research Consortium, recruiting speakers and working on the logistics with a focus on serving the continuing education needs of judges, attorneys, engineers, patent agents, IP managers, licensing department staff and students.

• CASRIP Publications – Responsible for publishing a quarterly journal providing comparative law IP analysis and Federal Circuit and Japanese court case summaries. Recruit and engage advisory committee members from major U.S., Japanese and Korean intellectual property firms who have experience with a wide variety of cutting edge technologies. • International Collaborations – Organizing a legal database compiling and translating key international IP decisions in collaboration with Waseda RCLIP, in Tokyo, Japan, Heinrich Heine University in Dusseldorf, Germany and Robert Schuman University CEIPI, in Strasbourg, France. • Program Management and Communication – Communicating in a timely and professional manner to (1) ensure that prospective participants are directed to the best program that meet their needs, (2) delivering superior services and experiences, and (3) equipping instructors with the information and tools necessary for a successful program delivery.
