With 10 years of management and administrative experience, I am seeking to join a company where I can contribute and best utilize my experiences and skills. I have more than ten years of management experience in addition to many years as a professional educator and operations coordinator. I began my career as a high school and middle school teacher and then had the privilege of investing a decade into my young children as a full-time parent. I re-entered the workforce as an independent contractor working with international clients. I coordinated groups of visitors to the U.S. and oversaw all the logistics of securing host homes for both long and short-term stays. As an independent contractor, I leaned into my strengths in administration and recognized that I thrive where I can provide excellent service, organization, and efficient processes.After joining StudentRoomStay (previously AmeriStudent - a small start-up company) as an independent contractor shortly after the company’s inception, I soon transitioned to work as the full-time Regional Manager. My role grew over the first couple of years and I eventually became the company’s Operations Manager. In this current role, I regularly demonstrate the leadership, attention to detail, and efficiency that have served our team and clients well. Over the years, I've taken part in helping the company navigate multiple mergers and changes, and gained years of valuable experience in administrative and personnel management. I have experience with all aspects of the business including hands-on support with clients (schools, agents, hosts and students), writing and updating training materials, writing and implementing operational policies and procedures, and overseeing incoming revenue and payouts to contractors and company partners. I also utilized company management systems to optimize operations and automate company procedures, trained team members to utilize management systems, provided support for team technical issues and questions, and oversaw the implementation of company policies and procedures. I look forward to refining and growing my skills as a manager and administrator in my next venture.
