As the Managing Director for Cultivate Collective and formerly the Director of Sustainability and School Food at the Academy for Global Citizenship (AGC), my mission is to spearhead community-driven initiatives that champion equity and environmental sustainability. I am deeply committed to transforming the food system through institutional value-based procurement, coalition building, workforce development and environmental justice advocacy. I create scalable models that utilize institutions like schools to bolster environmental efforts, which in turn supports sustainable regional food systems and fosters lifelong learning.Drawing on my background in ecological systems thinking, learning design, and social justice, I have cultivated partnerships across a spectrum of careholders, including community groups, schools, Federal agencies and advocacy organizations. I am especially passionate about amplifying the voices of young changemakers, female voices and engaging with diverse communities to ensure that our work addresses local needs while driving national impact.
