In Aug of 2014, Kris founded Eudaimonics Inc. to provide technical advice and consulting services on living the virtuous life. Kris continues to pursue his passion for continuous learning, philosophic inquiry, creative problem solving, skeptical thinking, and teaching in an effort to help individuals and companies maximize what live has to offer. Kris has 28 years of environmental program and management expertise, conducted 500+ hazardous waste/multimedia inspections, has military, business, and private sector experience, a degree in Environmental Science and Physical Geography, and was an adjunct Professor of Physics from the University of Colorado.Kris’s started in 1986 with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources as a hazardous waste inspector (RCRA), did complaint responses under CAA and CWA, inspector training, and developed a prototype RCRA inspection checklist ultimately adopted by MDNR.In 1989, Kris moved to EPA and specialized investigation techniques and improvement. As the Regional Multimedia Inspection Coordinator, he developed and implemented field programs which involved all EPA regulatory media. He was highly valued instructor at EPA's National Environmental Training Institute focusing on improving inspector/investigator effectiveness. Kris to played a key role in the development South Africa's new national environmental program, covering organizational structure, regulatory development, selection, training, and deployment of environmental officers (The Green Scorpions). This was a multi-agency, multi-national effort. He as also provided training in Jordan and his practical approach has always been highly valued by students. In 2002, Kris was selected as the Regional Federal Facilities Program Manager, responsible for compliance and enforcement activities at over 1,800 Federal Facilities.Kris was a Technical Advisor in EPA’s Criminal Investigation Division, Agent support, and liaison activities.Retired to found Eudiamonics, Inc.
