Support the IT infrastructure that underpins the TPICAP Chapdelaine Municipal Bond Trading business through active troubleshooting and consulting with Linux System Administration and Application Development teams.Shared primary System Administration duties for 30+ Chapdelaine Linux servers and two windows servers, which included installing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting hardware and software.Performed remediation steps for addressing company-wide issues highlighted by Tullett Prebon’s global penetration testing and vulnerability assessments in advance of the Swaps Execution Facility initiative. Steps included patching email server vulnerabilities, migrating Chapdelaine Blackberry users to Tullett Prebon's infrastructure, and automating and validating up-to-date patching of all Chappy desktops.Assisted in the disaster recovery of all Chappy systems that failed during the lower Manhattan power outages that occurred in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. The initial DR effort, performed over the weekend of Nov 2nd, resulted in successfully bringing Chappy systems online for start of business on Monday, 11/5.Installed and configured the Chappy LDAP environment in a active/passive Linux HA failover cluster, dual-primary server set up, using Corosync, pacemaker and DRBD. I've worked as a "catch-all"; IT Manager with a small trading firm operating out of New York City.
