Responsible for teaching over 300 wonderful students the aspects of visual art. These students are very excited about making art and sharing it with family and friends. I have organized and implemented a school wide fundraiser for art supplies with a nation wide known company. There are three elementary schools that rotate art each quarter, so each student receives art during their school's selected session.Painting anything is the passion of these younger students. Some have never seen different types of paint and explore the wonders of what they can create. It is always so hard to choose those pieces of art to display in the county's school art show. I enjoy teaching these creative minds, who wouldn't, that have a passion to learn and create art.Attending district continuing education classes are informative and a great learning pathway to connect professionally throught the school year. Team building enhances the student's learning, and everyone benefits.PTO moms love to work for funds to help their child's school. Working in three schools gives me the opportunity to be involved with art projects for these fundraising events. The students really enjoy seeing their teachers join in at these events, especially when they see their art teacher in the drive thru at McDonalds for teacher McNight.
