My name is Kris Mize. I have been married for 27 years and we have two boys who have been successful professional and college student/athletes. I have over 27 continuous years of sales, management, marketing, distribution, reimbursement, and national account experience in the medical device industry.While in the medical device industry, I have transitioned and helped integrate the Wound Care franchise through three acquisitions as well as a successful spin off. I have experience in working for both large and small companies selling not only medical disposables, but managing and selling capital devices as well. Recently, I was proud to be part of our Distribution team that was heavily involved in transitioning 3M Medical Solutions to Solventum through a spin off into a new company.My roles have included not only sales and sales leadership success, but experience in designing company wide marketing initiatives such as "Do Not Substitute Campaign”.Additionally, I have helped craft Reimbursement Strategy with CMS and State Medicaid plans, along with representing J&J on Capitol Hill on our Diabetes platform of education. During my time on Capitol Hill, I met with US Senators and House of Representative members in concern of our diabetes initiatives. Also, I led a team as a Regional and Division Manager that led the country in total sales in 6 of my 7 years of management. Team highlights included multiple US Rep of the Year winners, 18 President Trip winners and 3 Rookie of the Year award winners. I believe my main strength as a Manager includes finding a "way to win" and delivering execution and replication to perfection.Individually, I have closed capital sales totaling as high as $1.2M as well as sold numerous LTC Nursing Home Chains and Home Health Agency Chains as high as $1.1M in annual sales. While a Rep @ J&J, I contracted the largest IDN Advanced Wound Care Independent (Non-GPO) agreement with sales over $1M on four key products. Currently, I manage a Capital Device Agreement for Solventum that annually is worth $14M in sales.In 2022, I was nominated and selected to the National Post Acute Advisory Council of HIDA, (Health Industry Distribution Association).My roles and experience along with my education is listed below within the Medical Device industry.
