With over a decade of experience in aviation, I began my professional flying career in 2011, transitioning to the role of captain in 2015. My journey has taken me from the skies of the United States to the dynamic landscapes of Indonesia, where I sharpened not only my technical skills but also my leadership and decision-making abilities.In January 2023, I made the pivotal decision to step away from the cockpit to embrace a new challenge—leading Frost Unmanned as CEO. At Frost Unmanned, we are at the forefront of developing cutting-edge unmanned platforms that push the boundaries of what’s possible in unmanned flight. I gained some 3,600 taildragger hours on the Pilatus Porter PC-6 during my time in Susi Air. Most of this from high altitude mountain flying, with daily landings at short and sloped runways. I was assigned Papua, Indonesia as my work area, and gained significant experience in this area. I also functioned as a company check pilot for two years, and a line instructor for several five years. -

At the time, we had 9 such airplanes in our fleet, and the safety officer job was an important position in keeping up to date with reports around poor runway conditions, runway incursions, grassy runways needing care, security factors at our remote destinations, and risk assessment of new and unopened runways.
