Innovation leader that has worked within small teams all while operating inside large corporations. As senior innovation technologist at AstraZeneca, I have been responsible for bringing enterprise wide projects in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Blockchain, Quantum Computing, and Augmented/Virtual Reality. I have seen successful adoption of 6 projects with values exceeding millions of dollars while also publishing several internal papers and videos on relevant technologies.Prior to AstraZeneca, I was part of of the small Mobility Center of Excellence at Kaiser Permanente. I helped drive innovation in the mobile application for areas as diverse as code development to home health integration. This time also gave me exposure to both the payer and provider market for health care as well as the interesting world of software engineering. Before that, I was employee 1 at the Sprint Innovation Center, driving adoption of cellular technology in the IOT space. From launch, I identified partners to participate in the ecosystem, developed test cases for the cellular laboratory, and worked with customers to ensure they could get their solutions to market as quickly as possible. With my vast background in innovation, I have found that the most successful solutions are the ones with the best people behind them. My unique skill is being able to explain the value inherent in the innovation, whether it be the partnership value to the executives, the monetary value to the directors, or the cool factor to the technologists (and often times a combination of all of them). I have spent late hours pouring over machine code to help solve a customer issue and also spent early mornings with business leaders negotiating contracts.
