On a scale of one to fabulous, automating things is pretty awesome. (Haven't tried it? You should.)Over the years, I've had the opportunity to grow my skills as a sysadmin, a tester, an automater, a manager, and a software developer. (Though honestly, the last bit of that sentence kind of sounds like the beginning of a three-guys-walk-into-a-bar joke... Haha)Those that know me well know that my first love was PowerShell. Over the last few years, I've enjoyed spending lots of time with Python and Selenium for automation and testing. Recently, however, I've switched to doing full-time development work (C#, Javascript/Typscript, and React primarily), and that's been pretty enjoyable too.I've had a lot of experience with a lot of different software over the years, so I'm not going to list them out like an animal. (After all... Let's be honest -- lists of software are kind of boring to read though anyway.)All in all, I've had the opportunity to grow and develop many skills across the broad technical spectrum:- As a sysadmin, I nurtured a keen eye for details and a passion for scripting and automation.- As an automater, I challenged myself to efficiently reduce complexity and scale interactions between systems.- As a QA/tester, I learned to work as part of a development team, developing discipline and rigor.- As a manager, I strived to be a servant leader, encouraging growth for myself and those around me.- As a developer, I've taken the time to grow my skills and focus on good habits from those around me.Feel free to reach out.PS: Bonus points if you throw in a dad joke or a corgi reference.
