Here my primary duties included risk management, inspection of workplaces and processes, identifying hazards and trends, and conducting hundreds of hours of training for over 150 soldiers. During this time, I improved upon many aspects of the safety program, including but not limited to OSHA compliance, FAA Regulatory management, accident investigation, and fire prevention.

As a junior officer in the United States Army I was prepared for the greatest learning experience of my life. I attended Initial Entry Rotary Wing Training at Fort Rucker, AL and was selected among my peers to fly the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior. As a helicopter pilot at Fort Wainwright, AK I quickly progressed into the leadership positions of both Pilot-In-Command and Air Mission Commander. Within 2 years of being an Air Mission Commander, I was selected by my superiors to attend the Tactical Operations Officer course at Fort Rucker, AL. At this course I developed the ability to assess threats and recommend countermeasures to these threats. In addition to these skills I was tasked to provide unit level mission planning, tactical aircraft flight plans, and aircraft countermeasures programming. Responsible for the management of tactical mission data and development of mission products for 30 OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopters. Additionally responsible for the training of over 100 Army aviators in the tactical and technical employment of the units OH-58D aircraft and Level 2 Manned/Unmanned Teaming.
