I am currently a process operator at the Goodyear Chemical Plant in Houston, Tx. A small summary about job task that I perform here is, blending chemicals through a chain of reactors, making sure the products stay in the pipes. Strip the chemicals out the product through the recovery process, and send the reusable chemicals back to be stored in the desired area. Make daily rounds around the chemical plant, make sure we have everything working properly and also it is a safe work environment. I am also a board operator here which I get to control the panel from inside and see what valves to open and close depending on what lines we have running or which product we are making.
